A reality show, with all the aspects of great, can't wait until the next episode TV. There are a ton of reality shows out there, some for pawn shops, some for storage auctions, some where they repo cars, some where police officers have to deal with arrogant drunk people, and a few where good looking ladies are basically doing nothing other than prancing around, and then there are those music/talent audition shows, where we laugh at most and are impressed by a few. This show will incorporate all of the above, plus some.

 

This will be a top notch behind the scenes entertainment show, set-up as a Reality TV Show based around the day to day operations of a World Class Music Complex “Rags 2 Riches Studios”, with event planning, and dealing with the Successful and the Struggling Musicians within our 70 plus rehearsal / practice rooms. Not to mention the staff of the several music related stores / shops & services companies, that are all located within our HUGE Indoor Mall Styled Complex! Where we will also be hosting Concerts and real talent competitions every other weekend. Along with the behind the scenes looks at the filming of another Local Music oriented TV Show called “Houston On Stage”, and all the fun and drama that goes with it, such as renting and evicting bands from their rehearsal room. Hosting Award Ceremonies, and lets not forget the "Sexy Video Girl Auctions" where musicians can bid on their favorite talented ladies (for their next video shoot) this will make some Great TV. Also we’ll be mixing in some straightforward entertainment segments, such as live acts and / or the making of music videos.

Reality Based Show Segments

  • Behind the scenes peeks of the production of a local music TV show “Houston on Stage”

  • We’ll have Mobil Crews (comically funny guys) out scouting for hot new talent, as well as sexy ladies for our next live Video Girl Auction.

  • We will show behind the scenes of different artist recording albums or making videos.

  • We will have the drama of locking bands out of their studio when they get to far behind on their rent, and then if they don't come up with all the rent before the allotted amount of days are up, we'll Auction off their Room (allowing only them and other R2R Members to bid, "just for drama")

  • We’ll show behind the scenes, where we plan our first U.S. Music Fest  USMUSICFEST.com .

  • We’ll occasionally feature one or two of our lobby area vendors by sticking our nose in their business when good or bad things happen.

  • From time to time we’ll go on hassling raids by beating on rehearsal room doors during different band’s practice sessions, to give some of our monthly studio renters some irritated face time on the show. (pre planned and Just for laughs, we be expected)

  • We’ll show some behind the scenes looks at Every Corner Records as they sign up different artist to do their latest copulation album or video.

  • Behind the scenes look at Hot Sleep prepping new beats and shooting and/or editing videos for hot new artists, and also making wana-bees look fantastic in his “Video 2 Go” 10 minute video recording booth, where anyone, even lip sync’rs can look like a star!

  • We will have the pre-planned drama of dealing with incoherent/intoxicated guests that may be causing trouble and will need to be evicted from premises.

  • And of course the truly sad, and sometimes truly wonderful, stories of our starving artist.

 

Entertainment on Stage Segments - Part of “Houston on Stage” TV show

  • We’ll be Auctioning off Sexy Ladies/Models, to artist and/or bands looking for that perfect female presence in their next or future music video. Prior to actual bidding, the auction will consist of dance offs, best butt, sexiest costume, wet t-shirt, bikini competition, etc.

  • We’ll have Saturday Night Concerts on stage, in our lobby area, featuring both Local and Celebrity Acts.

  • We’ll have different types of Award Ceremonies, best new video, best new CD, best new video girl, craziest video and sexiest video, etc.

  • We’ll have a different favorite guest band or artist as our house band for each episode.

 

Competition Oriented Segments - Part of “Houston on Stage” TV show

  • We will audition all types of Musical talent, not for a big prize, but to merely be considered talented enough to rent a rehearsal room on a monthly basis, rather than by the hour. (Gong show type skit where we’ll have different judges that are all extremely critical or sarcastic) 

  • We will have different individual artist and hip-hop artist etc. battle on stage with their music and/or stage show, also straight up face to face free flowing, where a live audience will decide who gets to stay in the complex, and whom is evicted, with a touch of “Jerry Springer” type action, where security will literally throw them out because they try to get physical.

  • Battle of the original bands, where they will be presented a new song concept, with maybe a few lines they have to incorporate into song, then one week later they will have to present their creation, where the Local and TV Audience will vote on the best and the worse, the best will get a top notch video made for them and the worse will be booted out of the complex, or maybe be obligated to work as roadies for the winning band’s next show.

  • Monthly Renters / Members may routinely be invited to perform and participate in shows and promotional events.
  • Monthly renters will be issued an ALL ACCESS PASS, so you can come and go as you please, 24hours a day. It will also get you into any of our local promotions or events.
  • We may start putting Promotional Tours together in the near future for several different Genres, and we will look to our members first.
  • All Monthly R2R Members will get 20% off any retail items and services offered or sold by our Lobby area vendors.

Please note: all types of bands and artists are welcome here, as long as conduct yourself as a pro, you read that right! You will have to be quality musician and / or artist with a drive to succeed and a professional attitude to permanently rent a studio here on a month to month basis, and to become a R2R Complex Member. If you are just starting out, you are welcome to rent a practice room Bi–weekly, weekly or hourly.

 It’s not mandatory to participate in our different promotions. But by us keeping the bar high with providing quality artist a fantastic atmosphere to accomplish their goals. You’ll find yourself surrounded by top quality musicians, so that "Top Notch Artist" will know that this is a great place to set up shop. “Hard to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by turkeys… lol. Ps. If you run into a celebrity on the premises, it’s okay to say Hi, but don’t harass them. Remember if you are not already, you may someday be that celebrity, and you may not want the kid from down the hall hanging outside your studio door…lol

“Houston on Stage” TV Show

 

Basic Concept; A local music oriented show consisting of Music Videos and Local Talent on Stage with a variety of other clips, such as featuring the winners of different types of competitions, (for example; best guitarist, fastest drummer, best rapper, wildest dance, etc.) all done as part of finding Houston’s Best Live Performers, Male and Female, along with the occasional Celebrity Appearance.

 

The show will also incorporate some "Comical Characters" that will perform funny skits on the intros and exits of the shows segments. These characters will appear as if they are also watching the show on TV. (Quick example -- hey bud, "Houston on Stage" is coming on! -- as they both stumble onto the couch, the camera zooms past them toward their TV, where the "Houston on Stage" show will be starting) Generally something really funny, cornball, or dramatic will happen to these characters. These skits will be inserted at the beginning and end of the show, and occasionally before and/or after the commercial breaks. There will be funny new skits with every episode…

 

Entertainment on Stage Segments 

  • We’ll film Concerts on stage, featuring both Local and Celebrity Acts.

  • Featuring Best Acts or Winners of other events or compitions going on around town

  • We’ll have occasional Award Ceremonies, (consisting of best new video, best new CD, best new video girl, craziest and / or sexiest video, etc.)
